About Melinda
My event career started in 1995 with four little words, "Will you help me?" At that moment, a seed was planted and the passion has grown. Since then, I have produced and consulted with benefit rock shows and festivals; collaborated on guest appreciation events for car dealerships and dance studios; created intimate and beautiful rehearsal dinners and wedding receptions; worked behind the scenes to pull together presidential fund raisers and even put together a Cirque de Soliel style show from scratch.
So why did I get into event planning and, in turn, professional organizing? I have always had a meticulous eye for detail and work very visually. When I step into a room or venue, my mind immediately sees all of the potential. Also, I've always made lists for everything and have been super-organized. Over the years, bosses have seen this and I've spent free time at work organizing their spaces. To expand into professional organization just made sense. I really, REALLY love to create order out of chaos and find a way to make it all fit.
So what does this mean for you? My mission is to make life easier for my clients. I want your events to be memorable, your spaces to be organized and comfortable - and for both to be fabulous! I believe you should use what you have to it's greatest good and not waste anything if it doesn't need to be.
